Season 2 of The Family Man will mark the digital debut of Samantha Akkineni who joins the stellar cast of the show including Manoj Bajpayee, Priyamani, Sharib Hashmi and Seema Biswas. Created by Raj and DK, the new season also features an incredible ensemble cast from Tamil cinema including Mime Gopi, Ravindra Vijay, Devadarshini Chetan, Anandsami and N. Alagamperumal.
Amazon Prime Video launched an intriguing teaser of The Family Man recently which led to a wave of excitement amongst its fans. Amidst heightened anticipation, many fans actually managed to decode the launch date of the new season from a clue hidden within the teaser. Today, it was officially announced that February 12, 2021, will be the launch date for the new season of The Family Man.
The sequel of the action spy thriller marks the return of India's favourite Family Man, Srikant Tiwari, essayed by Manoj Bajpayee. This time Srikant, while struggling to balance his personal and professional life, will be pitted against a new nemesis, Raji, played by Samantha Akkineni. Replete with twists and turns, the upcoming season will see Srikant embarking on a new mission as 'This Time, No One is Safe'.
Taking to their social media, Amazon Prime Video shared an electrifying video to announce the release date. The caption read, "Srikant mission ke peeche aur villain Sri ke peeche, let the chase begin! #TheFamilyManOnPrime on 12th Feb"
