The brides of 'Made in Heaven' - Naina Sareen, Radhika Apte and Mrunal Thakur (L to R)

'Made in Heaven' follows mainly two protagonists – Tara, who by marrying business tycoon Adil Khanna, has ascended the ladder of social mobility and Karan, a closeted gay man who is grappling with the emotional consequences of hiding part of his identity. Tara and Karan are founder-partners of the eponymously named Delhi-based wedding consultancy and planning agency

The show features extended, ornate sequences of planning weddings - right from scouting venues to planning decor and styling the groom and bride. We couldn't help but we drawn to these visual delights onscreen and there's a reason why! The production team meticulously worked around the clock to design sets - right down to the wedding invitations featured in each episode. They tailored the aesthetic of each wedding according to the ethos of the episode, as well as the tastes and sensibilities of the couples featured

Radhika Apte looks like the perfect 'Marathi mulgi' is her traditional gold jewellery, garland and gajra. The 'nath' (nosering) caps it off!

Literally a goddess seated on a throne! Naina Sareen looks nothing less than divine in her long-flowing lehenga with vibrant colours and patterns. Don't forget her blue capri that trails off of her arms just above her mehendi

Sheena Khalid is smashing gender norms with a bang! She looks dashing in her glittering gold modern take on a bandhgala with complimenting danglers

Ravishing in red - Mrunal Thakur is all set to take her 'saat phere' in her dazzling heavily embellished traditional lehenga. The deep hues of cherry red bring out her makeup, amplifying her radiance

A power bride if we ever saw one - Elnaaz Nourozi looks ready to be the showstopper and turn heads at her wedding in her sequinned fusion outfit of lehenga and saree. The mirrors reflect the sunlight and accentuate her elegance!

Who said brides need to abide by traditional couture? And that only the groom gets a baaraat? Shibani Akhtar looks like a master horserider in her stunning golden gown and high ponytail. Slay girl!

Sarah Jane Dias looks stunning in her wedding gown. A true vision in white - she is sure to dazzle everyone in the pews when she walks down the aisle

Zayn Khan steals the show in her simple, elegant and understanded blush salwar suit. The intricately embroidered zari border on her dupatta add colour and freshness to her outfit on her big day!

Kali looks like a golden goddess in her full-sleeved heavily embroidered outfit and gold jewellery

Rasika Dugal looks like the perfect bride-to-be in this pink saree with golden embroidery

Deepti Naval looked as regal in her verdant green saree. Made in Heaven truly broke convention in the ways in which it portrayed and legitimized the desire of older women - and Naval's charm remained timeless as ever!

And then she shapeshifted! If you've watched this episode of Made in Heaven Season 1, you'll know that Rasika Dugal was being drugged and kept from marrying the person she was in love with as he belonged to a different faith. But love prevailed, as she got to wear the perfect white wedding dress of her dreams (along with marrying the man of her dreams!)

Wedding with a Punjabi munda demands glitter, gold and more glitter. We can't take our eyes away from this literally dazzling ensemble

Shweta Tripathi looked stunning in her bridal outfit in the timeless colour combination of green and pink

She has also starred in another acclaimed Amazon Prime Video original, 'Mirzapur'

What better way to circle the fire, say your vows, and commit to your forever partner than in a fashionable outfit? This green two-piece lehenga with heavy gold work is sure to draw the admiration of every wedding guest

Bridezilla is back! Maanvi Gagaroo's character definitely wanted all the attention on her in the special bridal-themed music video she shot - and no wonder she chose to wear something flamboyant

Ghunghat, jhumke and sindoor -- now all that awaits is the wedding itself

Let's not forget the star of the show, Sobhita Dhulipala herself! The woman looks gorgeous in anything she wears - and she exuded some zesty ethnic elegance during her own wedding on the show. Little did she know what's to come (Intringuing enough to make you binge watch both seasons?)
