Head to art gallery Art Musings to marvel at artist Nandan Purkayastha's solo exhibition, titled Endgame. Purkayastha's pen and ink artworks are rich in detailing and dimension and abound in mythological and historical references.
The paintings have overlaid patterns which give them the texture of fabric. Some of the sketches incorporate images of Taj Mahal while others portray surreal looking creatures.
Purkayastha is a graduate of the National Institute of Fashion Technology and gave up fashion to pursue his interest in painting and fine arts.
