Drop by at the Dr Bhau Daji Lad Museum to spot various life-sized works depicting a truck loaded with people and a kerosene tank, among other engaging exhibits.

These are part of the exhibition, titled Migrating Histories of Molecular Identities, by artist Valay Shende. Organised in association with Sakshi Gallery, it features works that unravel the pace of time, histories and myths to question where we, as a society, are placed today and the future where we are headed.
Shende uses symbols within everyday Indian identities - from trucks and tiffin-carriers to scooters - to address issues in society.
The artworks represent situations around us, through the deconstruction of matter in the form of molecular discs of metal and portraits.
The reflective surfaces of the metal create a mirror image of the viewer, making them a part of the work. It's also the first show in the city where Shende is showcasing The Transit, an exhibit on migrant labor.
