"I used to travel very often by train to Andheri and used platform number 6, which was near Lalubhai Park. I spotted many blind couples, on these park benches. There is a home for the blind very close to the park. I was jobless those days and struggling to become an actor. The manner in which these blind couples beautifully expressed themselves caught my attention. I also realised that I was interested in stories, and telling them. This made me write the play and direct it, " shares writer director, Nandram Aanand.

The play uses a lot of poetry, which is also the director's forte. When prodded about the play's unique title, he says "In my days of struggle, Satyadev Dubey would meet me at Prithvi Cafe; I didn't have money to pay for a meal. He would order coffee for himself, tea for me and ask me what I wanted to eat. I was shy and didn't know what to order, so he would order muffins for me. My characters in the play love muffins too," Aanand reveals. The play stars Marathi theatre artistes, Vinay Kamble, Radhika Kadam, Priyangi Borthakur and Amiesh Godsey. The play had a houseful premiere and the box office collections were donated to the victims of the Nepal earthquake.
