The upcoming West Pune's Monsoon Fest 2 puts an accent on creativity and home sweet home

Pune is ready for the West Monsoon Pune Fest 2014, which promotes creativity and hard work of housewives or people who are trying to make a mark through home décor and crafts. West monsoon Pune is an exhibition ranging from handicrafts to clothing.
This fest will display a variety of clothing and accessories, home and kitchen décor, different types of jewellery, semi-precious stones, cupcakes, bakery products, bamboo crafts, homemade candles, soaps, homemade chocolates and paintings.

Jayesh Paranajape, one of the organisers, says, "Our motive behind this fest is to promote the hidden creativity of women who are usually at home, or a family whose creativity can be showcased. Our target audience is the western part of Pune like Kothrud, Bavdhan, Baner and Pashan.
There will also be a stall on photography, this time. A similar fest will take place in the most happening areas of Pune, like Koreagaon Park and Kalyani Nagar. We have a reasonable amount of rent for stalls for two days. It is approximately Rs 3,500, whereas in areas like Koregaon Park and Kalyani Nagar this can go up to Rs 8,000 to Rs 10,000. This time around, there will be 40 stalls and about 1,200 visitors are expected.
There will be a small barbeque party for all the participants in the lawn areas near the exhibition. Like the previous fest, entry is free and open to all.
