Fashion has got more comfortable in the last few seasons with the introduction of flatforms, athleisure and anti-fit clothing. If you ever dreamt of heading to a party in your jammies, now's the time to do so, with a few glamorous tweaks.

Be it silken pyjama sets with luscious floral prints and pussy bows by Dolce & Gabbana and Gucci; dressing gowns that work as uber stylish separates by Burberry, and Puma (in collaboration with singer Rihanna), boudoir fashion is just what we need for Mumbai's rising temperatures.

Here's how to ace the out-of-the-bed look:
>> Comfortable and practical for the person who is always on-the-go, loungewear is perfect for Mumbai in this weather. The key lies in contrast, you need to balance the slouch with glam.
>> Dress up your outfit with chunky bracelets, a statement neckpiece or cool earrings to compensate the casualness with some pizzazz.
>> Keep the fit relaxed, and not very baggy throughout.
>> Go for either striking prints or pinstripes.
>> Pair a shirt with jogger pants for the day and change into a T-shirt or a lace top for an evening look. Pair it with killer heels or pointed pumps.
>> High-waist pyjama pants are the easiest to pair. Wear them with a crop top, dressing gown or even a chiffon cape.
>> Opt for fabric that has a silken or satin-ey feel to look dressy. You can also try fabrics like Chanderi with its handwoven sheen.
>> For slip dresses or lingerie dresses, put on a structured or denim jacket, which you can take off later in the night. Embellished jackets (with embroidery or quirky appliqué) also help balance the simplicity of a slip dress.
>> If not accessories, a bold lip colour can always lift your pyjama style statement.
