Nearly 57 percent gym goers plan their workouts impulsively, usually within an hour, says a yearlong study done by one stop solution for fitness enthusiasts fitpass.
The survey covered a wide range of areas including fitness goals; favourite workouts of users, impulsive versus planned workouts and more.
The key finding of the study was that women are more fitness conscious than men. Also as per the study, 58 percent users are females who follow workouts to stay fit and slim down, while only 42 percent users are males that have a defined fitness or health goals.
The study also says that nearly 57 percent gym goers plan their workouts impulsively, usually within an hour, 27 percent reserve workouts within 24 hours and only 16 percent reserve their workouts in advance, within the week, said a statement.
A yearlong study done by fitpass - the all-access pass to thousands of gyms and fitness studios, was conducted on the fitness routines and preference of 5,000 people in Delhi, Gurugram and Noida.
