11 am to 7 pm Delightfully Absurd is an exhibition of coloured drawings on paper made over the last two years in Canada by Mumbai-born artist Haren Vakil (74).
An architect by profession, he studied at MS University in Baroda. Architecture inspires his drawings and paintings as is evidenced from the sequence of columns, windows, and floor patterns. His works also feature eccentric creatures, hybrid human and animal forms.

Learn to fly kites
Event: 3 pm to 8 pm The Sports Gurukul is hosting the annual iKite Festival. The objective of the event is to celebrate Makar Sankranti with one and all and promote kite flying as a means of recreation in India. There will be a kite flying workshop, a longest kite in the air flying session, LED light kite flying session and a kite drawing contest.
