A bunch of student shutterbugs from Ooty went viewfinding, and the results are for you to see
When you give young minds the liberty to choose their own line of business, they're bound to show you a world beyond engineering, medical and civil services streams, and excel in streams that they believe are their heart's calling. Third Eye, a seven-day exhibition by Ooty based photography institute Light and Life Academy (LLA) features some marvelous shots by its students. With just three days to go, you don't have much time to plan a trip here.
Metro musings
The show, which has already overwhelmed photography enthusiasts in Chennai, Bangalore and Mumbai, puts on view over 300 images created by 41 students who have just completed training in the art. Institute founder Iqbal Mohammed says, "In our third edition, the themes are fashion, wildlife, nature, architecture and interiors, industries, fine art, people and travel photography."u00a0
Fresh fervour
Each student has on display seven to 10 of his/her best shots, of which many have been digitised to add an edge. "No matter what the response is, I am excited at the thought of interacting with amateur and expert lensmen. I am sure it will be an unforgettable experience," hopes participant Neha. Lend an eye for their eye.u00a0
