Anushka Sharma epitomised the peaches-and-cream look with soft eyes and lips for her wedding reception
>> While red lips and nails have been a go-to option for instant glam, it's taken a backseat this season. A minimal, no-make-up look with natural lip colours has been seen on every top actress from Deepika Padukone to Alia Bhatt.
>> The key is to look younger and fresher and give the appearance of skin that is not caked up. But you also need a glow - use cheek highlighters and body glows for a subtle shine. Start with a little product and build on it rather than going dark in one swipe.
>> Check the details and not just the colour match on your foundation packaging and use a dewy finish foundation to get a serene, soft look.
>> Do invisible contouring; contour or blush in a way that no one can figure you have chiselled your face. Pick one shade darker to contour. The key lies in blending your products well so the result looks seamless. Don't try to finish it in a haste.
Buy the best brushes to get your contour right such that it's invisible, like the soft glam look at Elie Saab's fall/winter 2017-2018 show and Alberta Ferretti's spring 2018 show. Pic/Getty Images, AFP
>> Moisturise and prime your face so that your pores look smaller and your make-up stays till you pucker at midnight. Use a make-up fixer spray to help your make-up stay and blot excess product. It's all about being peaches-and-cream and not made up.
>> Try a brown shimmery eyeliner rather than the regular black and smudge it. Go dark on the eyes and neutral on the lips with a defined pout. Outline the lips using the colour that matches your lipline. Highlight the cupid's bow, add a little gloss or a lighter shade to the centre of your lips such that the corners are subtly darker for a fuller lip look.
>> Go easy on the brow; it should be powdery natural and not dark and scary.
