What is the theme for Women's day 2018

This International Women's Day, be dressed in purple, green and yellow! We have always associated the pink and red colors with women and have kind of made their identification synonymous with them.

While across the globe, different colors indicate different meanings, the United Nations symbolises Purple color with Women as it connotes ‘Justice and Dignity' and together with it, is the combination of bright Yellow that corresponds to 'New Dawn'.

Sometimes the lovely hue of Green is also complemented with them as it stands for ‘Hope'. Venerating the movement for women's rights, International Women's Day is celebrated every year on eight of March. Honoring Women and celebrating their immense contribution in every aspect of life, the day is focused at bringing the world's attention on gender equality and liberation.

While every person in their own little way tries to rejoice this day, men and women from across the globe can wear themed attire based on the colors of Purple, Yellow and Green, as their modest contribution in creating awareness on the International Women's Day.
