Everybody is getting ready to witness Grammy and Emmy award-winning hip-hop artist Curtis â50 Cent' Jackson perform in Mumbai as a part of âThe Final Lap Tour 2023' at DY Patil Stadium on November 25. It will be the icon's global farewell tour before he retires from music. The concert, which also celebrates the 20th anniversary of 50 Cent's groundbreaking album âGet Rich or Die Tryin', brings the multi-hyphenate's illustrious career to a euphoric full circle.
Interestingly, the much-awaited concert will see a star-studded opening line-up of celebrated desi acts such as DIVINE, Prabh Deep, SVDP and Yung Raja, making the day an unforgettable blend of timeless global nostalgia and the finest hip-hop talent.
Since the âIn Da Club' and âCandy Shop' hit-maker burst onto the scene in the early 2000s with his raw, unfiltered experiences straight from the streets of New York City, 50 Cent's authentic storytelling and sound has won major accolades and millions of hearts around the world. His debut album, âGet Rich or Die Tryin' became an instant classic and is often cited as one of the greatest hip-hop albums of all time - an enduring testament to not just his own body of work, but hip-hop's immense power of storytelling. He will be performing in India after 16 years and for the very last time as part of his global megatour.

Amping up the adrenaline in an epic build up to 50 Cent's performance is Mumbai's very own - DIVINE. The artist is celebrated for his ability to capture the hustle and hum of Mumbai's street life through raw, authentic and fiery bars. With hits like â3:59 AM', the chart-topping âMere Gully Mein' and most recently âBaazigar', DIVINE has enthralled not just his devoted fanbase but the whole world.
Joining him is Prabh Deep, who has carved a space for himself as an avant-garde creative visionary in India's cultural landscape. Consistently reimagining and reinventing his sound, Prabh's music shifts away from the mainstream styles commonly associated with Indian independent music - with projects such as âClass-Sikh', âK I N G', âBhram' and âTabia' receiving critical acclaim for their intense and mature themes.
Also part of the pulsating mix is SVDP, a.k.a. Shan Vincent De Paul from Toronto, an acclaimed and dynamic musician making waves with his unique sound and accolades and wins at the Independent Music Awards and Toronto Independent Music Awards in the Best Rap/Hip-Hop category.
Completing the powerhouse pack is breakthrough rapper Yung Raja, who has been dubbed as Southeast Asia's next avant-garde hip-hop artist, known for the tasteful unification of English and Tamil culture in his lyrics with hit numbers such as âMustafa', âMad Blessings' and âThe Dance Song' .
Together with DIVINE, Prabh Deep, SVDP and Yung Raja, hip-hop king 50 Cent will set the stage on fire - one last time - making the India leg of 'The Final Lap Tour 2023' an unforgettable one.
