I like a guy in my neighbourhood. He's an artist and specialises in sketches. I used to find him adorable, so I struck a friendship with him. Now I've fallen for him. He's seven years younger to me and I find it odd to even think of having a relationship with him.

Age is just a number. Seven years is no big deal and only if you tell people would they know that he is younger to you. There is nothing odd in liking a guy who is some years younger to you. There are many women out there who have younger husbands. This should in no way deter you in initiating a relationship. Just treat him like any other guy who might be older to you assuming he's on your level of maturity. What world are you living in? Get going.
