BFL has recently completed an all India Hard Rock Cafe tour as part of their album launch and performed their first international gig in Thailand earlier this year. The band is heavily influenced by cult bands such as Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, SRV, Hendrix and Metallica. Their tracks 'Glow' and 'Mirage', have received international acclaim. Band members Akshay Chowdhry, Sumant Balakrishnan, Bhim Kaul and Dushyant Purohit are once again ready to rock the city. So put on your dancing shoes and join the headbangers!

Alice in wonderland
Revisit the fantasy world created by Lewis Carroll at Akshara Theatre this weekend as 50 odd children act, sing and dance their way through giant chessboards, rabbit holes, tea parties and gardens with talking flowers, while meeting a variety of amazing and fantastic creatures on the way. The performance is based on Carroll's famous work Alice in Wonderland and Alice Through The Looking Glass. This play is a part of Diksha Summer Festival of the Performing Arts for children. The Red and White Queens, the Jabberwocky, Humpty Dumpty, the Lion and the Unicorn and the Walrus and the Carpenter are some of the strange and wonderful characters encountered by Alice, which will be played by eight young actresses ranging from 7 to 14 years of age.
