The Aussie BBQ is coming to India with four hotly-tipped acts from Australia. The bands will tour Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune and Delhi. The Aussie BBQ is supported by the Australian Government through Oz Fest India, the Australia International Cultural Council and the Australia-India Council -- initiatives of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

One of the artistes, Kate Miller-Heidke is a singer-songwriter from Brisbane, Australia. Performing for the first time in India, the singer said, "I've always wanted to come to India, and am so excited to be playing shows over here. I'm looking forward to writing with an Indian musician too -- I love Bollywood music and Bhangra, and I also love singing those high ornate melodies. I think the trip will be an unforgettable experience". Miller-Hiedke is currently working on her fourth album, O Vertigo, which will be released in March 2014.

Moynihan released his debut album Megafauna in 2005. Soon after, his unique brand of improvised Electronica, sound art aesthetics and heavily edited live instrumental recordings became an underground hit.

He says, "I am really excited to be heading back to India and share my music with eager ears. India has such a vibrant atmosphere and I'm looking forward to soaking in the surrounding influences and writing tunes with some excellent Indian musicians."
