Dear Diana
Dear Diana,
I have been married for almost two decades. I have a teenaged daughter. I had a brief affair with this guy at my workplace. The affair is long over and remains my life's biggest regret. I was such a fool to be used by this guy who promised to be there for me no matter what. Though it has been years that we have moved on and are not in touch, I keep thinking of him. I yearn for his touch even though he used me. What should I do? I don't know why I keep remembering him and all the things he told me. My husband does not know of this brief fling of mine. Nor do I intend to ever tell him. I do not know how he will handle it. I had made the guy promise that he would never tell anyone about our affair. It has been years on still I cannot get this guy out of my head. He was also married with kids.

Dear Mayuree,
It looks like you fell for this guy. You found your type of a guy and true love, but too late in life. His feelings may have been genuine for you as well. Many people find love even after they are married. This happens when you meet people who make such an impact on your thought process and emotions at first sight. You have not been in touch with this guy or seen him for years, but still pine for him because your love for him will always remain. As they say, he knocked you off your feet and you fell for him quickly. The time you spent with him must have been truly magical that you still hold on to those memories. The fact is that you two have gone your ways. So let him remain where he was - in your past. There is no point talking about him and creating havoc in your married life as well as his marital life. Let him remain a distant memory and get going with your life as he has with his.
