Dear Diana
Dear Diana,
I broke up with my boyfriend two years ago. He has moved on and has a new girlfriend while I'm still nursing my bruised heart and ego. I haven't been able to get on with my life. It has affected my health as well. I keep thinking about the past even though it was me who wanted to go my way due to constant tiffs between us. How do I move on in life?

DearAmeera,
There is no point crying over spilt milk now. You wanted a way out and you got it. It is clear that you felt unhappy in the relationship and due to ego issues you did not want to talk things out. It was your highhandedness that cost you the relationship. If you had sorted things out, may be you would not have been left so sad and lonely. You did not want the guy in your life, so he naturally moved on and has found someone else. There is no point resenting it now. You got what you wanted. Next time ponder before taking any rash step.
Dear Diana,
I met a girl on social media. I felt her profile was interesting and we decided to meet. For over a month, we spoke a lot. I felt she was the one for me. Gradually I started buying stuff for her and splurged a lot on high-end brands. This went on for a month. We always met in a mall every Saturday evening as she felt she did not want to involve our families till we were sure. For the past two weeks, however the girl has disappeared. She never gave me her mobile number and always refused to take any snapshots with me till we were sure of each other.

Dear Rohan,
This girl took you for a ride and has vamoosed. In a city of millions like Mumbai, it will be difficult to trace her. Or may be she has left the city. You were a fool to buy her stuff and no nothing about her. Next time be wary of such strangers.
