Dear Diana,
I've been in a relationship with my boyfriend for two years. At a bash recently, I found his behaviour outrageous. He was hitting on every girl. I am aware that he has been messaging the girls he met as well. The other day he was having a sex chat with one of them.

I suddenly feel that my love for him has diminished. I still love him as a friend and we have a great time together, but romantically I'm not interested in him anymore. I want to break up. As things were going fine between us, I feel a breakup would be completely out of the blue to him. I like him, but no longer love him. Ever since all these developments, I have been ill at ease. He has no clue what is going on in my mind, so I don't even know how to tell him. Do I soldier on or do I need to get out of this relationship. I know he will be heartbroken as it will come as a shock to him.

Dear Reetika,
He does not bother about you, so why are you so concerned for him still? You don't know how to tell him that you no longer have feelings for him when he has been making merry with other girls right in front of you. Instead of telling him to lay off, you are quietly seeing him in action with all the other girls. Speak up and tell him exactly how you feel. Did he bother to think how you would feel when he was hitting on the other women? He has been indulging in sex chats not bothering that you are aware of it.
Your boyfriend is doing all this because he has taken you for granted. He is well aware that you will not react. You keep your feelings bottled up, so he knows he can get away with any excesses. It's time you took a stand and tell him. Do not care if it comes as a shock to him. He jolly well know that his behaviour is deplorable and that you don't like it. If he cares for you, he will stop.
