Dear Diana,
Two years after I broke up with my guy, he still keeps tabs on me. I know this for sure as one of his pals is friendly with me. He informs me that my ex wants to know what I am doing and where I am going. He also keeps checking my social media profiles and updates. I am also well aware that I still receive calls from him on my landline at home and there is no answer from the other end. I know it is him as he wants to hear my voice. Once, I even screamed at him and told him not to call on the landline. When we broke up, we had sat down and spoke about it. We had discussed why we could not make things work it out on our front. We had decided that we would not speak about each other to anyone and move on in life. But this man is just refusing to begin anew. I have bumped into him twice on the road. I have just said a hello, but he was keen to talk to me. I told him I was in a hurry and walked off. He then went and told this common pal how I had behaved with him. How do I get this guy off my scene forever?

Dear Rupali,
It looks like your guy did not get a sense of closure after you decided to end the relationship. You say you two sat down and discussed the issues, but this man is not giving up on you. You are clear that you want to move on, but this man is still pining for you. Also, this common friend is creating more havoc in your lives by telling you what he is saying about you. I am sure he is going and telling your ex-guy what you are speaking about him. For starters, you need to tell this common friend to stop carrying tales from you to him. Also, you can speak to you ex and tell him to stop stalking you. As you have moved on, he needs to do so too - the faster he does it, the better for you and him.
