Dear Diana
Dear Diana,
We have been together for almost two years, but my guy refuses to admit to our relationship. In front of others, I am just one of his friends and nothing more. Initially, it was fine, as even I was unsure about the relationship. But now we are committed to each other, so why is he secretive about the relationship? Not a soul knows that we love each other. We have been discreet about where we meet. When I talk to him on the phone, he insists that I delete the call records as well as the text messages. Keeping things under wraps is, however, taking a toll on me. I feel frustrated and angry. It is time now that we tell our folks, but my guy is against it. I don't know why he wants to keep it a well-guarded secret. When I ask him for how long we need to keep things under wraps, he changes the topic.

Dear Samara,
You need to have a talk with your guy. It is strange that he is hiding the relationship from everyone. If he really cares for you and loves you, it is time he told his family about you. To be secretive initially is understandable, as you may not be sure of each other. Now that you are serious about each other, he is still adamant about keeping it under wraps. Is he with you just to have a good time? He insists on deleting text messages and call records - that too is strange. There is something amiss as he does not want any tell-tale signs to be left behind. This man cannot be trusted. Give him a time frame and if he does not change his stance, you need to do rethink about him and the relationship.
