Big, fat weddings could also mean major chaos. But that might change soon thanks to various apps that make organising weddings much easier. The latest such app is Boda that has been conceptualised by free style Rap artiste Siddharth Sood aka MC Sid.

The customised
app helps you create a social network and helps share photos, track schedules, get directions, stay updated about dress codes, weather and special toasts. It also creates a wedding help desk and provides real-time alerts and notifications.
Commenting on what inspired the app, Sood says, "The Indian wedding industry is one of the largest globally but is unorganised and fragmented.

We put together our wedding domain expertise of over 10 years (he performed at weddings), and created this app to simplify communication with the guests.
This app is the evolution of an e-invite, or a website and its dynamic nature allows the nuances of managing wedding guests to be dealt with easily."
Boda is free to be downloaded for guests; there is a set-up cost of Rs 5,000.
Available at: iTunes store and Google Play Store. Links can also be downloaded from www.myboda.in.
