Placious is a new app that aims to bring those together, who know everything about their locality and those who want to know more.
Based on the idea of glocalisation, where the local is made available on a global platform, Placious works a lot like a social networking website, but it goes a step further by allowing you to connect with people within a 10-km radius.
It allows you to ask questions where people around you can help. You can guide travellers visiting your city, and at the same time, promote and communicate about homemade products and services.
The user can also discuss and debate local issues. The idea is amazing for sure, and seems promising, but the user interface is too basic. Then again, there is always room for improvement.
