Curious to find out aboutu00a0what goes into the making of a comic? Thisu00a0interactive workshop on the subject, includes a discussion on comicu00a0art and its long association with Hindu mythology
Indian mythology remains a source of inspiration for its treasure trove of stories spanning thousands of years. With the idea to better understand the association between mythology and comic art, Comic Con, India, in association with Vimanika Comics, is hosting an interactive session on the subject. The workshop aims to provide an insight into the process of creating a comic.

Karan Vir Arora, CEO, Vimanika Comics and writer-researcher Deepam Chatterjee, who wrote Kalki and Dasha Avatar will be present.
"Be it a comic book fan or someone who does not know much about comics, the session can be interesting to anyone, as we will be talking about history, which forms the basis for most of our stories," says Karan, adding, "Our screen projections of the artwork would interest anyone."
The discussion will include a Q 'n' A with participants, who will also have the opportunity to see how comics are designed, including the degree of detail involved. The workshop is also geared at providing direction for those looking to make a career in comic design.
