Docoss, a technology firm based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, is preparing to launch a new smartphone named Docoss X1 for Rs. 888 in the Indian market. They unveiled the look and key specifications of the phone on their official Twitter page, which you can view below...
The annoucement comes following the early 2016 unveiling and controversy created by the launch of Freedom 251, a smartphone, which was launched by a Noida-based tech firm, Ringing Bells for the price of Rs 251. Touted as India's first all-affordable and cheapest smartphone the company was in the eye of the storm for several issues, which even included a case of cheating registered against the owner of Ringing Bells. The pre-bookings for the Docoss X1 will close on Friday and the price, though, is exclusive of taxes and the actual payable cost might be higher.
Key specs of the Docoss X1
According to the company's official website, the Docoss X1 comes with a 4-inch IPS display with a 5 points touch capacitive screen. The phone features a 0.3MP front camera and a 2.0MP back camera with flash light.
Internal storage capacity is upto 4GB (ROM) with 32GB expandable MicroSD Card support. Furthermore, the Docoss X1 has a 1GB RAM with Dual Sim slot and supports 2G/3G and WiFi connections. It runs on the Android Kitkat OS and comes with a 1300mAH Lithium battery. The smartphone has a 1 year warranty.
