Chinese smartophone maker, Coolpad on Monday unveiled an updated version of its popular Note 3, the Note 3 plus. Priced at Rs 8,999, the device now gets a 5.5 inch Full HD scratch-resistant screen unlike its predecessor which had a 5.5-inch HD screen.

As for hardware, the Note 3 Plus gets the same set of specs including a finger print sensor at the back, 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory. And now, the addition of FULL HD screen makes it an even more attractive deal at the price range. The Note Plus 3 is a dual sim smartphone with support for 4G LTE, 3G and GSM cellular frequencies along with support for SD card up to 64GB.
The device gets a 13 megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front-facing camera, and is powered by a 3,000 mAh battery, which the company claims gives it 15 hours talk time. But keeping in mind the upgraded display, we doubt it will be able to give the same performance as the Note 3.
The new Coolpad Note 3 Plus will be sold exclusively on Amazon.in from May 13, and will be available in gold and champagne white variants.
