Hit this Karaoke competition if you think you can mesmerise the world with your voice
Kroaking Season 6 is in the Capital to select who rules the roost when it comes to singing your heart out impromptu.
Started by a nightclub in Bangalore, Opus Karaoke nights or Kroaknights have gone national over the years, picking up talent from all over the country. Now in their sixth year, they are visiting more cities and reaching out to more people to make the karaoke competition fiercer.
"The singers who have won this competition have gone on to give music a serious shot and have been picked up by people in the industry. We've had judges like Sridhar Subramaniam (head of Sony BMG), Sandeep Chowta and Anushka Manchanda among others judging the participants," says Carlton Braganza of Opus, the
mastermind behind KroaKING.
The Process
Participants are screened ruthlessly by eminent judges. One among the participants is chosen to represent his/her city at the national level. Winners record a track on an exclusive CD and then get styled and glammed-up for the big finale in Bangalore. So it doesn't matter if you are young or old. If you think you've got a good voice, this is the place to be!
