Benny Benassi proved he was a talented DJ back in 2003 when Satisfaction, off his debut album Hypnotica, made a lot of people on dance floors very happy. He continued to notch up accolades for remixes of everyone from Outkast and Goldfrapp to Moby and Public Enemy.
His work on the latter even won him a Grammy, apparently. It is this repertoire that makes Electroman such a disappointment. It is the sound of an artiste flogging a dead horse. There are more guest artistes than hooks (Beautiful People featuring Chris Brown is a lone bright spot), an overdose of synthesisers (House Music) and little else.
