Have you ever got stuck while finding a clean toilet nearby? Well, Google is soon coming to help you out, because the search giant is expected to launch a new feature called ‘Toilet Locator' in India. The feature will be introduced in collaboration with the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD).

A new report stated that Google will start a pilot run of the new ‘Toilet Locator' feature in National Capital Region from somewhere between November 16 and November 30. The feature will be integrated in gogole Maps, with the help of which anybody will be able to search a nearby toilet. The latest update is reportedly being piloted under Government of India's Swachhata Pakhwada, or Cleanliness Fortnight campaign.

The usage of the feature goes like this- people will first need to open Google Maps and then search for the nearby toilet. They can even use keyword like shulabh, shauchalay, toilet or lavatory. Users will also be able to rate the cleanliness of the toilet which they have searched via Google Maps.

Till now, no date for the Toilet Locator's' official launch has been announced. MoUD officials said that mechanisms are in place for the facility to reach the urban local bodies of India
