There are quite a few reasons why we liked 1 Boulevard. For one, we liked its contemporary chicu00a0 presentation. And we liked that along with Mediterranean and European cuisine, they have kept the Indian palette in mind as well. With contemporary cuisine, an exotic variety of drinks with new age global lounge music, they are keeping up to their promise to create a space to unwind.u00a0

Raw effects
Cool, grungy but modern -- is how we can describe the place, which consists of textured wood and classy seating along with chic interiors. You can opt for their outside seating arrangement as well, which allows you to enjoy the weather. Inside, you will witness a lot of raw materials like chains, cement, pipes which have been used to give a dark and grungy feel. Dark wood frets have been used contrasting the flooring and mood lighting.

Divulge in diversity
Once we were escorted to our table, the servers promptly brought us our menus. The helpful manager recommended the best they serve in vegetarian and non-vegetarian delicacies. We started our evening with a Veg Caesar salad, which was served with Caesar dressing and anchioves. The appetisers consisted of Harissa chicken skewers, which were perfectly flavoured with red chilly, cumin, garlic and vinegar.
The Basil saffron grilled prawn served with cous cous was a pretty dish but the Chicken piri piri deserves a special mention. In vegetarian fare, we opted for Mozzarella sticks which were melt in the mouth, while the Thyme-scented grilled cottage cheese served with mushroom pepper sauce was good. The dishes were so delicious that we were genuinely upset that we couldn't finish the generous serving.

In galore
The thin-crust pizzas being their USP, they coerced us to try their BBQ chicken meat ball pizza cheese. The vast drinks menu boosts of everything that suits your bladder -- from cocktails, mocktails to hard spirits. The servers at the lounge were prompt enough to serve us when our plates got empty and even a dropped fork was replaced before we could ask for a replacement. We ordered a Banofee pie and a Blueberry cheese cake from the dessert basket. The food, drinks and the casual atmosphere makes it ideal for small get-togethers.
