So long, you've been watching emcees and DJs holding stage at nightclubs. Now's your chance to swap positions and put up a patakha performance!
Amateur air
Yeah, we understand, it isn't easy to stand up, head for the stage, hold the mike and sing confidently when you haven't prepared for it like you did for that PowerPoint presentation. Most likely, you'll sweat instead of sing, especially if your colleagues decide to pull you along for an impromptu session tonight itself.u00a0 Now, c'mon, shed the shyness. "Even if you sing badly but have the right poise, listeners will love you," remarks Sheetal Bahl, partner at the host venue. Since the event attracts huge crowds, it's advised you arrive a bit early and register yourself for a five to 10 minutes slot. There are no charges. "Many amateur musicians and bands come here to perform, and the response is amazing," she adds.
Need testimony from participants? Church choir member Justin Rabindra tells us, "I am excessively into Sixties and Seventies music. This thing is indeed the best way to build one's confidence and meet like-minded people."
Gaana aur khaana
Regain the lost energy throughu00a0 mouthwatering Pan Asian cuisine with Thai, Tibetan, Chinese, Vietnamese and Singaporean influences. Need to loosen up a bit? Choose from a fine collection of wines and whiskeys, or quench your thirst with the tastefully made mocktails and cocktails. Still doesn't work for you? Guzzle beer, sip liqueurs or down a little rum as you take pleasure while other attendees strum.
