Bored of watching regular concerts? Pigflower, a city-based T-shirt company promises something different in The Alternative
Nothing can stop artistes from playing good music for music lovers. City-based t-shirt company Pigflower proves it. With most scheduled recitals being cancelled in the city, The Alternative, a concert organised by Pigflower, also faced the same fate.

But overcoming obstacles and change of venue, Pigflower will be gifting Bangaloreans live performances of bands Adam & The Fish Eyed Poets, Sulk Station with movement artist Archana Kumar, Goddess Gagged and Schizophonic.

"As a musician playing for years in the city, I am familiar with these problems. Our only concern was that good music should be played," says Abhijit Tambe, founder of Pigflower.
Tambe shares that each band has been selected keeping in mind that The Alternative lives up to its name. Chennai-based band Adam & The Fish Eyed Poets will play volatile R&B while Schizophonic is all set to play peppy electro tracks.

Goddess Gagged, on the other hand, describes itself as a progressive rock band. However, according to Tambe, Archana Kumar is the wild card of the evening. "She is an interesting artiste.

We don't know what she will perform in collaboration with Sulk Station. It is going to be a surprise," says Tambe.

Also, Tambe shares that the evening will showcase t-shirts hand painted by artistes from in and around the city. "The idea to display them there is to have a creative vibe going," says Tambe.
