In a comfortably creative space

It pleases my heart to see innovative and quirky furniture, that is no longer difficult to find in the city.

Chairs painted in myriad colours, bookshelves that make being a geek fun, sofas with Parisian images on them and a lot more - city stores are stocking up furniture for those who like to add that funky element to their home. While browsing through such furniture, two innovative chairs caught my eye.

A chair from the Katran collection

The first chair, Flux, is based on origami. The chair can be folded and hung on the hook or pushed under the bed when not required. Perfect for the tiny spaces the city has to offer. The second is a chair by young designers Sahil and Saarthak. This chair is made using several strips of cloth in different colours and can brighten up the dullest of homes. Both the chairs have won national and international design awards for their innovative designs and though a tad expensive, they will surely add colour to your home.
