New Delhi: In a bid to counter its rivals in the budget segment, Motorola has cut the price of its Moto E (Gen 2) by Rs 1,000. The device is now available at at Rs 5,999 and the 4G variant will sell at Rs 5,999.
Launched in March earlier this year, the Moto E Gen2 sports a 4.5-inch display of 540x960 pixels resolution and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 quad-core chipset coupled with 1GB RAM.
The smartphone packs a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel front shooter. The Moto E (Gen 2) comes with 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded upto 32GB via microSD card.
Earlier, Motorola slashed price of its Moto G smartphone (2nd generation) by Rs 3,000. The Moto G is be made available for purchase at Rs 9,999. The smartphone was earlier selling for Rs 12,999 from Flipkart.
