Nine times out of ten, when 36 year-old Cameron Diaz has something to say, Hollywood sits up and takes notice. This time though, our gurus in Bollywood might also want to listen in. Recently, the actress was quoted in the press, admitting that while she was amazed by Bollywood, she would find it tough to slug it out here. We thought of giving Ms Diaz a five-point plan to help her sashay her way into our awesome world of jhatkas and matkas.

Get a Godfather: Okay, so exceptions have been around in Bollywood, but the Godfather is bound to work wonders for someone of Ms Diaz's calibre. The Yash Chopra mould would help her scour most of the industry, we believe. And she should avoid the notorious, pile-on variety; mostly spotted at social dos, trailing stardust like abandoned puppy dogs.
Dress like Bollywood: Style and Bollywood are inseparable. Ask Karan Johar. In fact, Cameron Diaz should ask him right away. And we wouldn't be surprised if the blue-eyed boy of Bollywood obliges to play style guru to this talented, beautiful actress. Also, bling works big time here, so she might as well bring it along, lock, stock and shining barrel.
Move it like we do: Vaibhavi Merchant, Farah Khan, Saroj Khan, Bosco-Caeser, Remo. And a few more. They might want to give Ms Diaz some much-needed reassurance that in Bollywood, every star has their signature move. And mostly, succeeds in winning the accolades. Never mind if they will never be able to match up Hrithik Roshan. Ask Govinda.
Love thy media: Be it TV, print or the web, the media in India either loves or hates you. And doesn't hesitate to flip favourites. Diaz might want to have a few sit-down sessions with Aamir Khan on his unbelievable love affair with the fourth estate. The appropriate, rehearsed answers that don't come across as too flippant or smart-alecky will go a long way. Lace it with a few link-ups with the rich and famous, for drama quotient.u00a0 Well, since Ms Diaz has already walked the coals with the hard-as-nuts Hollywood press, this might be a piece of cake.
PR works: Hire a kick-ass Public Relations team and half your problems are solved ufffd from planned appearances to playing to the gallery with shrewd sound bytes and the timely photo-op. Ms Diaz is a familiar face in the West, so appearances at Cannes and other film festivals should be a breeze.
