Sahil Makhija whips up a plate of pancakes on Headbanger's Kitchen

When he is not on stage, belting the harsh death growl and shredding his electric guitar, city-rocker Sahil Makhija is at his workstation in the kitchen shredding meat. Sahil, aka the Demonstealer, is a musician by day and a closet cook by night. While he has been actively performing with his Metal band Demonic Resurrection, Sahil has also been assuming a more meaty role as the head chef and host of his YouTube food showu00a0-- Headbanger's Kitchen. On the show, Sahil has been cooking and sharing some of his favourite recipes with his brothers in the Metal community.

Now, extending that community cooking effort to an audience of a different kind, Sahil and his production crew will be shooting a live episode of the Headbanger's Kitchen at Foodhall at the Palladium today. Open invitation to all shoppers and fans of the show, Sahil will be dishing out some of his favourite recipes. "I will be whipping my signature dish Bacon Bomb and Chicken Burgers. There will also be Egg Quiche and Paneer Piccata for the vegetarians," says Sahil, who will invite members from the audience to come and sample some of his cooking and also participate in the interactive show.

"True to the format of the show, where I invite other bands to come and have a biteu00a0-- I've invited members of Bahayank Maut, Goddess Gagged and Albatross to come as well. Let's see who turns up. I will play it by ear," adds Sahil, who will also be sharing some of his recipes, secret ingredients and techniques besides taking queries from the audience.
