Sunday MiD DAY gives you a peek into the show thats bigger, better and louder
It will be a festival that goes across religions, caste and creed. All you need to do is listen. The musical journey of Bacardi NH7 Weekender will take place from November 18th to 20th at the Laxmi Lawns near Magarpatta City, Pune.
Swarathma will perform on November 20 at NH7 Weekender, Pune where
they plan to launch a single from their new album Topiwalleh.
The venue, a 17 acre plot beats last years twou00a0 acre site, but size is not all that matters for this multi-genre music festival. Listeners will have a chance to sway, shimmy and headbang at six stages as compared to five the previous year.
Each stage will feature a different genre of music; there's dance and electronica at Eristoff Wolves Den, world, folk and eclectic music at The Dewarists Stage and rock and metal at Bacardi Black Rock Arena, singer-songwriters at The Other Stage and reggae, drum & bass at the Pepsi Dub Station.
Over 50 artists will perform over the three days and special acts to look for include Imogen Heap in collaboration with Vishal Shekhar, Monica Dogra in sync with Humble the Poet and Midival Punditz and organisers promise some 'secret' shows, but that's all hush-hush. Indie bands that you can catch include Soulmate, Swarathma, Blakc and Bay Beat Collective to name a few.
But its not only the music that will take centrestage at the Pune festival. Also present will be, the Tattoo Republic, an international tattoo convention where you can get inked, food stalls includingu00a0 continental, Indian and a health section so your stomachs aren't rumbling louder than the band and a flea market for quirky and kitch memorabilia.
