British-born Australian actress Naomi Watts has flirted with Yoga, Pilates and cardio training in her bid to stay fit. She's also been a devoted follower of The Zone diet and the Blood Type Diet (BTD)


British-born Australian actress Naomi Watts has flirted with Yoga, Pilates and cardio training in her bid to stay fit. She's also been a devoted follower of The Zone diet and the Blood Type Diet (BTD).

As the name BTD suggests, followers have to eat foods according to their blood type. The idea is that if you consume foods that suit your blood type, it becomes easier to maintain weight.

In mid-2009, Naomi switched over to The Zone diet, under which her daily calorie consumption was restricted to 600 (500 from meals and 100 from snacks) calories. Each meal was formulated to comprise 40 per cent from carbohydrates, 30 per cent from protein and the rest from mono-unsaturated fats.
