Nudists participated in the annual North East Skinny Dip at sunrise at Druridge Bay, near Ashington, Northumberland, northeast England. Nearly 400 people participated in the event this year.

The North East Skinny Dip is observed annually to mark the first official day of autumn, which is also known as autumn equinox. There is also a charity drive associated with it.

The event is the brainchild of Jax Higginson, from Sunderland, who came upon it after witnessing a similar event in Wales five years ago.

This is the fifth edition of the North East Skinny Dip.
