While scouting around Bandra's markets to find unusual products to dress up her new home, Shimauli Dave Vora hit upon an interesting idea: to bring together the country's quirkiest, kitschiest and most eccentric brands under one roof. Buzallong Bazaar was thus born.
The company offers products from brands such as Shor Sharaba, Random in Tandem, Chumbak, Gifts of Love, Purple Jungle, The Boxer Store, Artitude, Moira, Warmly Designs, Dejainer and The Elephant Company. It travels to various cities in the form of bazaars, offering people the chance to shop for just about anything from funky clothing and bizarre accessories to unusual home décor and other fun products.
The bazaars are usually set up in the most popular parts of a city, typically in places like galleries or restaurants. Unlike an exhibition format, which involves brands setting their separate counters, Buzallong's business model involves stocking goods and offering an unadulterated retail experience.
