How about escaping the city heat this weekend, with your dog in tow? Crazy K9 Campers is back with its summer specialu00a0-- a weekend getaway designed to make you have a good time with your pet pooch.
The weekend camp called K9 Summer Splash will have you zip off to Karjat where you can take a dip in the pool with your pet, participate in interactive games, sign up your pet for a fancy dress competition with a Summer Special theme, and go swimming in a shallow river nearby.
If your mutt has been particularly friendly and well-behaved over the weekend, you can also throw in a few yummy treats whipped up by a barkery (a bakery for dogs, that is) that goes by the name of The Spoilt Brat. We've seen their unbelievably yummy-looking goodies but sadly, that's the only thing you won't be able to share with your doggyu00a0-- this one will be all his/hers.

We can't seem to get enough of watching Monica Dogra and Randolph Correia in their element, live on stage. Shaa'ir + Func, as their stage names go, seem to know a thing or two on how to get a live act going.
Couple that with refreshingly original music, Randolph's (the Func half of the duo) Electro-Funk sensibilities and Monica's passionate vocals (and sexy looks) and the listener is sure to be appeasedu00a0-- whether s/he decides to stand up and groove or sit down and soak it all in. Why are we especially promoting tonight's gig of Shaa'ir + Func? Because it's free (add smiley here), of course!

If you've been postponing your trip to the Farmers' Market endlessly, this weekend or the next might be a good time to drop by. The market shuts shop temporarily after the next weekend, thanks to the soaring temperatures. It might not be such a bad idea to do your grocery shopping at the Race Course, one of the last remaining open spaces in the city.
Stock your shopping basket with organically certified fruits and vegetables as the bluesy strains from the Traveling River Band that performs live to add to the weekend mood. Being kind to your body can be complemented by a foot massage too. Well-deserved, isn't it?
