The band has quite a few live performances to their credit including at festivals such as the Escape music festival (Naukuchiataal), Wills India Fashion Week and the CWG Youth Festival. Their inspirations include artistes such as Muddy Waters, BB King, Eric Clapton and Janis Joplin. But this doesn't mean the band apes their music note by note. "Blues and Jazz are genres where there is room for improvisation. When we cover a Blues track, we do not perform it as it is; we incorporate our own styles in the songs. There are certain classics such as Piece of my heart that remains untouched and is performed like the original," said Sushant Thakur.

Expect a lot of Rock and Roll as well as Blues and five to six original compositions at the gig. Each musician comes from a different musical background as well. But how do they manage to incorporate their respective musical influences when they sit down to write? "We discuss the mood of the tune, the lyrics and see if we can find a similar feeling in the song we write," shares Thakur.

Their original compositions range from soft ballads to up-tempo peppy numbers. Some of their tracks revolve around a theme as well. For instance, Sweet Bridge is based on long distance relationships and imagines a dreamy bridge created between people to reach out to each other. The song has a mood swing to it while Slide and Shake is a happy and fun hard Rock number.

Speaking about the songs, Thakur says, "We write songs about things we are passionate about. If someone has a broken heart, the song tells the story. That's how Moonless Nights and Disrespected Blues came about. If it's falling in love, that's how Lovestruck Blues happened. Sweet Bridge was again about losing one's loved one and the illusion of coming back. It was based on the ups and downs that each of us face in our relationships and our daily life.
