When they were done, they would walk to the side of the building to buy themselves a glass of apple juice. Like most rituals, there was comfort to be derived from this weekly ritual of theirs. One of the girls recently stopped by for old-time's sake, only to find that the shop was much smaller than she remembered, and that the apple juice-dispensing machine was under repair. u00a0
She's happy to report, however, that they still sell apple juice-concentrate in bottles (' 150 for 900 gm), apple juice in tetrapacks (' 15 for 200 ml), as well as squashes and jams. Thankfully, some things don't change.
