As summer has made way for the monsoon, it's time to enjoy the last few days of the King of Fruits. Head to the Mango festival at Ramee Grand where you can savour varieties of desserts made from mangoes.
"The festival is a tribute to the popularity of this delicious fruit," says Subhadeep Datta, GM, Ramee Grand. The revamped delicatessen is offering yummy treats such as the Crunchy Mango, Anguri Rabadi, Mango Pastry, Amarkhand, Mango Pulp Cake, Mango Laddoo, Mango Sandwich and Mango Chamcham. Our personal favourites are the Mango Pulp Cake and Mango Swiss Roll.
"Don't forget to indulge yourself with a mango treat, from the traditional Aam Panna and the Mango Lassi as well as the cool Mango Milkshake. Soak up the sun with mango mocktails such as the Mango Mint Cooler, Frozen Mango Daiquiri, Mangotini and Mango Lime Sangria," said Atul Kulkarni, F&B Manager at Ramee Grand.
The regular Thali for lunch and dinner is followed by mango-based desserts. "The main highlight of the festival is our customised lip-smacking desserts and drinks," said Datta.
He added that they have specially categorised the desserts keeping in mind the Indian tastebuds and the health quotient. All the drinks and desserts have been priced at '99 only.
