Films
Five of the best films, which were screened for the second KASHISH Mumbai International Queer Film Festival, have been selected for a special screening for the Pride Week celebration. A selection made exclusively by filmmaker Sridhar Rangayan, the list of movies includes Amen (winner of Best Indian Short Film) and Kusum (winner of Riyad Wadia award for Best Emerging Filmmaker).

Concert by the bay
The idyllic location of The Amphitheatre on Carter Road will be the venue for a rock concert and will feature popular local and international acts including Alisha Mathen, Ashwini Mishra, Kriss Bass and Ralf Kamphuis. A poster-making competition will also be held simultaneously. It will be free, it will be loud, it will be colourful.u00a0

Dirty talk
Dirty Talk is an open mic session that promises to not take itself too seriously. u00a0It will, however, deal with some very serious issues, including gender equality and queer rights. More than 20 acts include poetry readings, skits and stand-up comedy. The only mandate -- everyone mustu00a0Have fun!

Flashmob
The next big synchronised dance performance will have a queer theme to it. Choreographed by Dev Kakkad, responsible for the CST flash mob, this one will have straight and queer people shaking it to 'Character Dheela', 'Sadda Haq' and 'Maa Da Ladla'.u00a0

The five-minute dance and disperse format will be improvised to accommodate what promises to be a jaw-dropping chant-and-stomp session at the end.

Dancing queens
The first ever queer dance and theatre troupe in the country, Dancing Queens will perform their rendition of 'Bollywood Dhamaka' for the Pride March. Abeena, the transgender dancer who is gradually becoming quite a cult sensation, will be performing with her troupe as they pay homage to the Dancing Queens of Bollywood.
