Talking about the album, he says, "I have wanted to do it for a long time. The album is different in its style of music. It is extremely melodic and the background music is subtly complex."
Though Rashid doubles up as a composer and guitarist he admits his loyalties lie in singing/ performing. "I started singing before playing the guitar and the guitar turned out to be a natural accompaniment.

I would pick being a singer over a composer from the live performance point of view. There is a larger connect. I am glad though that I can take one hat off and wear another," he says.
What brought out a title like that? "It was inspired by one of the songs on the album, 'Call Me Baby,' and something both me and Rahman found catchy.," he says.
He speaks aboutu00a0 Rahman with much reverence and says the nicest thing he has heard from the Oscar winning composer is, "Rashid has a unique voice."
The album saw its launch on artistaloud.com as a live launchcast on November 28 and will soon be available in its recorded format.
