Twitter suffers massive outage across all platforms worldwide

Popular micro-blogging website Twitter suffered major outages across PC and mobile platforms.

Users were greeted by the technical issues graphic (pictured) when trying to access the website's URL.

Many Twitteratti, across the world, who happen to maintain Facebook accounts have been posting regarding the outages.

So far, Twitter outages have been observed in countries like the United States, Malaysia, Jamaica, Costa Rica, Phillippines, South Korea among others.

Normal services resumed early Thursday morning.

Twitter went offline for users across all platforms in January, this year. Access to the service began failing over the web, mobile and its API (application programming interface, the system that applications use to speak to the Twitter service) with error messages warning the network is both 'over capacity' and suffering an 'internal error'.
