Anthony Shaffer, Laurence Olivier, Michael Caine, Harold Pinter and Jude Law are few of the names associated with Sleuth, the play which inspires Stageplayers Theatre Productions' Khoon Karaychay. The play is a Marathi adaptation of Anthony Shaffer's 1971 Tony Award-winning play Sleuth.
The play dwells on the story of an immensely successful mystery writer Rajwade, who loves games and game-playing and a struggling actor Ajay Talwalkar. The two only know each other because of their association with Sai, who is Rajwade's wife and Ajay's lover. Rajwade lures Ajay to steal Sai's jewellery and sets of a chain of indecipherable and mysterious events.
