Sarita Nair, founder of the website, says, "India is a land of spiritualism, culture and religion. Due to busy schedules and a lack of time, people often avoid visiting religious places. Also, the mismanagement at such places makes people wary. That's where we step in."
Har Ki Pauri, Haridwar
An avid traveller herself, Nair loves to explore spiritual destinations and got the idea to start the site after she visited a spiritual destination in North India, where she witnessed the unorganised way in which the local touring was handled. The website covers pan-India religious places and religious melas.
It was formed after a research period of two years by a team which explored 750 spiritual destinations across India. Some of the melas that they offer services to are the Mahakumbh, Pushkar Mela, Kartik Mela, Kolkata Durga Puja, and Krishna Janmashthami at Vrindavan.
The religious places you can visit with their help are Chardham, Ajmer Sharif and Velankanni Church, among other places. They offer family packages that include leisure and spiritual destinations. "We also keep planning group trips and all trips are with a guide," adds Nair.
At the Mahakumbh, they provide a service from your place to Kumbh (Nashik) along with accommodation, food and a guide. "Travellers can plan trips as per their needs and we will help them in designing a customised tour. Through the portal, customers can book directly for hotels, flights and buses as well," Nair sums up.
