Art with a Heart
The second Magma Painters' Workshop will be held over two days and is u00a0an initiative to promote arts and upcoming talent. Speaking about the intiative, Kaushik Sinha, Vice President, Communications and Administration, Magma Fincorp Limited, said, "We let artists interact and mingle with others and share their thoughts as they paint.u00a0
We also provide scholarships to those who are willing to take it up professionally but don't have the finances to do so." The workshop will provide raw materials such as canvases, brushes and paints, which will be available even after the duration of the workshop. The initiative which was initially conducted only in Kolkata is now touring across six cities, and is providing a platform for artists to follow their dreams.u00a0

Underwater Magic
Enjoy a three-day exhibition on marine life titled Aqua Life 2011 organised by Laukik Creations. The exhibition will showcase tropical fishes, marine and planted aquariums. There will also be 125 designs of fish tanks and over 100 different species of fish on display.u00a0
It will include breeds such as Power Horn, Lipstick Fish and the five-feet long Arvana apart from various types of aquatic plants. There will also be live pet birds such as Kakakuas, Parakeets and Emu on display.u00a0

Stories in a dance
Tichi Goshta, a dance drama that showcases the story of women shifting abroad, will be showcased in the city this Saturday. Shraddha Joglekar and her students from Kalaawishkar, California, will bring the show to the city. "I had been thinking of performing in India for a long time.u00a0
Finally, with this performance we are getting a chance to do that. Foreign performances give you a high but Indian performances give us a sense of pride. The idea behind this performance is that with the right talent and education any Indian girl can go and make her mark abroad," she said.u00a0
